Give credit to Pink – when she wants to kick ass and rock her body, she just goes for it.

The 33-year-old rockers, animal rights activist, and new mom is featured in the November issue of Shape; commenting on everything from her diet to her pregnancy and her workout routine.

Since giving birth in June 2011 to daughter Willow Sage Hart, she’s lost over 55 pounds.

“I thought I’d feel like a goddess,” she told Cosmo. “They sell you on that sh*t, like you’ll never feel more feminine. Really, I just felt like a mess, but I kind of enjoyed that too. Hell, yeah, I gained 55 pounds. I think my baby may be part cheesecake.”

To regain her rock hard bod, Pink embraced a (mostly) vegan diet, cardio, and yoga six days a week.

I like results,” she said. “I like feeling strong. It keeps my mental floor higher. Even if it’s a pain in the *ss and you hate working out, the endorphins help.”

One of Pink’s former trainers, Gregory Joujon-Roche, revealed to the magazine her diet routine, saying that anyone else looking for similar results should make sure that whatever they put in their mouths is green.

“Her diet would be quinoa, fresh veggies, superfood shakes, super shots, and wellness shots. We always incorporated things that are really healthy but also user friendly.

“Everything you put in your mouth should be green, except water. There are so many healthy green foods, like green salad, avocado, apples, and juice. Do it once a month. You’ll feel really good for doing it and your body will love you for it. It’ll save your life.”

*sigh* Again with the “mostly” vegan stuff – either you’re vegan or you’re not, there’s no grey area. Good for her though for being healthy!

What is a “(mostly) vegan diet”? It seems you either eat vegan or you don’t. Wouldn’t that be a vegetarian diet?

I LOVE Pink! She is hot at whatever weight she is.

Last time I checked, she was a piscetarian.

The outcry should go further than importation and should be directed at the fact that the animals in question were on their way to slaughter in the first place.
