What better way to end the week than to watch the wonderful rescue of an eight-month-old elephant?

This calf made the unfortunate mistake of falling into a well. While the little gal tried to climb out, neither she nor her mother could quite work out a solution. Thankfully, someone called a team of conservationists from the Amboseli Trust for Elephants. First, they had to scare away the mother so they could work in peace. Then, they tied a rope around the bountiful butt of this big baby girl and hauled her out.

But, the best part of the video? The elephant reuniting with her mother. Oh yes. You might even cry.
