The Internet collectively blushed this morning after it was revealed that Alicia Silverstone’s latest product promo on the shopping site Open Sky was an eco-friendly vibrator from Leaf.

“Ok, ladies– sometimes it’s nice to have a little extra…something…when you’re getting it on (solo, with your partner…whatever floats your boat),” she writes.” There is one personal massager company that’s actually Kinder than all the rest.”

Now Leaf isn’t the first green vibrator to hit the market, but they’re certainly one of the more interesting looking; taking a page out of nature’s book for design inspiration.

In commenting on the brand, Silverstone mentions that she likes that the products don’t “look scary,” but at first glance, the unorthodox design does look a bit out there. But hey – I’ll leave that up to the ladies to decide.

“Plus they’re made from phalate-free, super-soft (and safe) silicone, and they use rechargeable batteries,” she adds. “And they’re shipped to you in packaging that’s not only discrete, but made from recycled materials.”

Reviews seem positive – with one over at SheVibe praising the leaf-looking model for its “almost-completely-silent bullet motor” and pros as a new shower and bath buddy.

“The Life Vibrator is just a beautiful product; it’s smooth and velvety to touch and is a beautiful, bright, fresh shade of green,” writes the reviewer. “The leaf shaped design is tasteful, and the shape easily contours to the palm of your hand and the tip allows for optimal clitoral stimulation.”

So there you go – it’s not even 11AM on a Monday and I’m already more educated on green vibrator technology. Thanks, Alicia.
