***Update: Her nude ad for PETA is now live. See it here.

Wendy Williams, the successful daytime talkshow host often regarded as “the next Oprah” is reportedly set to make her nude debut with PETA.

The 48-year-old will appear as part of the org’s “I’d Rather Go Naked…” anti-fur campaign that will launch next week on billboards around the U.S.

“Wendy used to wear furs, and all types of leathers and more,” said a friend of the talk-show host told the NY Post, “but she’s had a change of heart.” The paper also snagged a copy of a speech she gave last week at a PETA event at The Standard.

“PETA’s legendary . . . campaign has turned a lot of heads and changed a lot of minds — including mine,” said Williams. “I, like many people, was unaware of how animals lived and died for their fur, and I wore it without thinking much about it, until PETA came along . . . I’m thrilled to star in PETA’s next naked campaign.”

Stay tuned for that new ad next week.
