golden eagle child video

UPDATE: Turns out it’s a fake.

Earlier this fall, we had a live shark fall on a golf course – and now? A baby was almost snatched up by a golden eagle. People – stay away from golf courses.

The amazing video that’s been circulating online happened in Montreal – with someone filming the eagle flying gracefully in the sky, and then watching in horror and it swoops down and briefly picks up a baby sitting on the golf course.

Golden eagles, which can have a wing span of up to 7.7 feet, are known to prey on foxes, goats, and even sheep. I’ve even seen crazy videos of them dragging goats off cliffs so the fall can kill them. Oh, and their talons? Capable of exerting an estimated 440 pounds per square inch. Damn.

Check out the video below.
