In perhaps our favorite new anti-fur video, Woody Harrelson and The Humane Society of the United States make clear the reasons every person should choose faux over fur.

For those of you who are too frightened to press the play button, don’t fret. The video does a great job of not showing any actual animals being injured while still making the strong case against fur.

Harrelson narrates, “What would be the difference between a family pet versus, say, another animal raised and killed for fur. They’re both cute. Maybe you can’t cuddle with some but that doesn’t mean they haven’t come to a consensus that having their hides handed to them hurts like hell.”

Harrelson said about the importance of the video and its tactic of not showing any actual violence, “It’s always difficult for people to deal with images of animal cruelty head-on; no one wants to look at what really goes into the making of fur. This video is so impactful because it lets you know without having to see. I really hope it makes fashion designers and consumers think twice about using and wearing animal fur, when so many great alternatives are available and just as stylish.”

Love that he is standing up for this! How could any fashion designer or
consumer ever think this is okay. It should be something for the
    history books. Great video Woody!!!

Veld donates money to farm animals and also serves them

Lest we be confused that their giant V logo stands for anything other than Veld.

Trading beef for beans is not a solution, veganism is

Please do substitute beef for beans, but also have tofu instead of turkey, carrots instead of chicken, and I think you see where I’m going.

Guys, extortion isn’t an effective form of vegan advocacy

Assuming we can extort people into respecting the lives of others makes no sense.
