Golden Globe winner for her performance in “Zero Dark Thirty”, Jessica Chastain, added a dash of color to the red carpet in a baby blue Calvin Klein gown.

Chastain does sometimes wear bold colors, but generally wears whites, beige and black. With Amy Adams and a host of other celebs wearing beige, Chastain is making quite the statement with her plunging blue dress. We have a feeling this fashion choice is going to cause some conversation. People will either love it or hate it. Either way, see it below and make your own judgement.

The vegan actress joins two other vegan nominees : Anne Hathaway and Joaquin Phoenix. Like Hathaway, we can’t get a good look at Chastain’s shoes, but we’d bet our Stella McCartney heels that they are totally animal-free.
