Rumor has it that plant based eaters experience gas while dining on quinoa, kale and other vegan foods. As a plant based eater myself, I will neither confirm nor deny the allegations of windiness.

Whether fact or fiction, the show “Portlandia” put their vegan fans in stitches by showing the two main characters trying out a raw vegan restaurant. They loved the food, declaring it “delicious” and that they “liked it all” but while sitting and chatting, they just couldn’t hold in their flatulence. So much gas that other customers began to complain.

Thankfully, the raw vegan restaurant knew that farting wasn’t out of the realm of possibilities for plant based dining, so they ask gassy patrons to visit their “farting patio.” Fully equipped with a fan and fresh air, our two heroes let their bodies be beautiful, or rather, gross and gassy, but definitely healthy. See the funny clip below.
