It’s official. With all the custom vegan shoes Anne Hathaway has been wearing this awards season, she needs to convince the designers to release the cruelty free versions to the public.

Last night Hathaway accepted her SAG award for her performance as Fantine in “Les Mis” while wearing adorable peep toe Jimmy Choo shoes. Made vegan just for her.

But, if Jimmy Choo has gone to the trouble to make one vegan pair, why not pull a Stella McCartney and release the vegan shoe to the public? Same for those Tom Ford boots that Hathaway wore to the Les Mis premiere. Or maybe the custom Aldo shoes she wore to the Globes. By the time awards season is done, the actress could have inspired an entire store devoted to vegan shoes by top designers. A girl can dream.
