Win Tickets to Vaute Couture’s Fashion Show in NYC

If you’re like Alicia Silverstone, Felicity Huffman, and Emily Deschanel and a fan of Vaute Couture’s gorgeous winter coats, you’re going to fall in love with their very first ready-to-wear Fall/Winter 2013 collection. And happily, you could be one of ten lucky fans to win tickets to the fashion show. We’re doing a giveaway!

Ten vegan fashion loving fans will be given two tickets (one for the winner and another for their guest) to Vaute Couture’s showing of women’s and men’s outerwear and ready-to-wear autumn/winter 2013 collections. The show will take place in Chelsea from 11:30 to 12:30 on 2/6. (Scroll down for how to enter.) The only ways to get into this exclusive event is to be invited by Vaute Couture, or by winning. So good luck!

As for what you’ll see if you are one of our winners?

According to VC, “The women’s collection is realized through fit and flare shapes, bright colors, heart & star detailing, and oversized detachable bows. Prints and solids are blended together while colorful pastel and bright outerwear pieces incorporates vegan leather detailing and zip off skirts and hoods. The collection also includes unisex cuts and luxe pieces made with organic cotton velvets and velveteen, zero waste satins, organic cotton fleece and flannel, colorful faux fur, soy fiber knits, and vegan tweeds. The men’s line includes collegiate sweaters, smart button downs and trousers. Accessories include knit hats and headbands with knit bows and updates on 1950′s accessories like colorful faux fur neck warmers and earmuffs.”

Founder and designer behind VC, Leanne Mai-Ly Hilgart, said about her new designs, “I start with what’s missing from the market in terms of fashion that is stylish, functional, and ethical at once. Design wise- my daily inspiration is in the prints and layering of thrift store finds, childhood ballet class silhouettes, and my travel to Asia, especially fashion from Hong Kong and Tokyo. This collection is inspired mainly by borrowing clothes from my favorite guys, mixed with the over the top style of Sailor Moon and her stand for love and justice, one of my favorite style icons.”

Ten winners will be selected at random and will receive two passes for the event. Please note, tickets cannot be bought. Attendees will only get in through invitation or by winning. Instructions will be sent to the email address provided.

The world and the animals need Vaute Couture so very badly – ! I would love to be there dressed to the nines in vegan garb to give them a standing ovation for their very first NY Fashion Week show with some of my fellow vegan gal pals! (Did I mention that my favorite coat in their first line happens to be named after me: Emily?!?!) Needless to say, were I to win these tickets, I’d necessarily be forced by Ecorazzi to support a slew of other vegan businesses on my way to the runway.
