There are all sorts of ways to raise money for environmental causes, but the Brazilian non-profit F+ck for Forest certainly has one of the more “creative” approaches.

The group, which promotes free love as a means to save the planet, is the subject of a new documentary by filmmaker Michal Marczak who, according to The Movie Box, “follows the hippie organization as they attempt to save the Amazon rainforest by bringing their free-love ideas to the indigenous people of South America.”

The film will be making its North American Premiere at March’s South by Southwest. A full synopsis is below:

“Sex can save the world” — that is the creed of one of Berlin’s most bizarre NGO’s called F+ck For Forest: an organization that raises money for their environmental cause by selling home-made porn on the internet. Meet Danny, a troubled soul, as he accidentally discovers this exuberant and colorful world where sexual liberation merges with global altruism. Never fearing adventure he joins the group revealing the absurdity in extravagant fashion. From the streets of Berlin to the depths of the Amazon, together they are on a body-liberating, planet-saving mission to buy forest land and save the indigenous peoples from the sick, sick west.
