Here’s something you’ve likely never seen before.

An anonymous loving goldfish owner has posted a video showing one of their beloved in a small harness – a kind of fish “wheelchair.” According to the post, the fish is prone to flipping over (a condition that may be related to its bladder) and the buoyant harness helps keep her body properly aligned. Oh – he’s also hand-fed.

“She looks a little silly, but it is better than lying at the bottom of the tank all day!” the description says.

As you would expect, such devotion has lef to lots of viral love across the Internet and over on Reddit, with one fan saying “This is excellent. Most people would just get rid of the fish. Nice to see some loyalty and love for the little fish.”

Check out the video below.

  • Hey

    “related to its bladder” 🙂
“Swim bladder” -left as is, it would be like comparing a human’s lungs to their bladder

    • You can compare our lungs to fish bladders. Human lungs and swim bladders are both considered gas bladders and both are used for respiration.
