Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas Adopt Two Puppies

When Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas’ dogs passed away, they decided to open their home to two other rescue pups from one of their favorite Los Angeles shelters.

Griffith and Banderas went to the Ace of Hearts shelter and found two shepherd/lab siblings, a brother and a sister. According to TMZ, the dogs had been abandoned and abused, although there is no additional information on what type of abuse they faced.

Thankfully, that’s all in their past now. The two pups will have a loving home with the actor and actress. The couple appears to have a history with the rescue organization and supports the adoption of companion animals.

Griffith and Banderas are in good company. Other big advocates for adoption include Ian Somerhalder, Jennifer Aniston, Miley Cyrus, Miranda Lambert, Ricky Gervais and so many more.
