Anne Hathaway is bringing true star power to the 2013 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (February 24) in Hollywood. All through the awards season Hathaway has been making waves with her short hair, sleek dresses and vegan shoes.

Whether it’s Jimmy Choo, Tom Ford or the brand Aldo, the major designers seem happy to make their kicks cruelty free for the favorite for best supporting actress. Hathaway has cleaned up for her performance as Fantine in Les Mis. But we really love the attention she’s been bringing to vegan fashion.

Tonight the actress is wearing Prada with what we assume are vegan shoes. *Update: Hathaway is wearing custom vegan Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

Check out the back of that dress that shows that simple in front can be funky in the back.

Note: Originally, Hathaway was going to wear Valentino but changed her mind at the last minute.
