From what we can glean online, the yellow gown (which took 120 hours to make) was created from fabric which is an organic GOTS certified organic silk Crepe De Chine, dyed using seeds from chamomile and goldenrod, and some unique and beautiful vintage and recycled elements – including candy wrappers.

According to Badger – a Ghana-born designer currently studying at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta, GA – the gown was inspired “by a volcano and how lava flows.”
