How cute is Tom Hardy with this adorable pit bull? I really don’t think it gets more precious than this.

Today, the “Dark Knight Rises” star was spotted filming scenes in New York City with his pit bull co-star for his upcoming flick “Animal Rescue.”

As you can see from the photos, Hardy carried the pup around, gave him/her a few kisses and looked absolutely content with the dog.

Hardy’s new film revolves around a troubled bartender who stumbles upon a wounded pit bull puppy in a garbage can. Said bartender rescues the pooch, but soon finds out the pup’s owner is a criminal and wants his animal returned.

To read a snippet from the film, which is based on a short story by “Gone Baby Gone” author Dennis Lehane, click here. It sounds like the film will not only bring up animal abuse issues, but problems surrounding pit bulls in animal shelters.

Hardy is one of the latest actors to speak out against animal abuse, and we love him for it. In addition to “Animal Rescue,” be sure to keep an eye out for Hardy’s two anti-poaching films he’s working on with Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire.

My Parents Forced Veganism on Me

If vegan parents don’t “force” their vegan values and beliefs on their children, society won’t hesitate to “force” standard American values instead.
