Country singer and animal activist Miranda Lambert has rescued yet another dog from the side of the road, and is asking Twitter followers for help.

Yesterday, Lambert tweeted up a storm about the adorable pooch she found. “I just picked this up on the west side of Tishomingo on hwy 22. Please contact Tish animal shelter if he is yours. pic.twitter.com/9tV407EXk9.

“He was in the middle of the hwy with his food bowl and bed…If it wasn’t an accident someone is really sick. pic.twitter.com/GdUqTXE1D8.”

When one fan asked if the pup is her “new road puppy,” Lambert responded with “as if we need anymore!”

Miranda Lambert rescues another dog from roadsideIt looks like she will take care of the little guy, until the owner or someone willing to adopt comes forward. She wrote, “I guess the pup is mine till I find him a little boy somewhere to live him!”

This isn’t the first time the country star has showed off her animal love. Just like she is known for her musical talent, Lambert is constantly recognized for her animal activism. She is always rescuing pups, and searching for loving homes for the pooches.

In 2012, she made headlines when she found homes for an entire litter of puppies who were abandoned outside an Oklahoma daycare center. She even has her own animal rescue organization, Muttnation Foundation, so her puppy rescue list goes on for miles.

It looks like no one has claimed Lambert’s latest rescue, as she tweeted that she will be calling the dog “Pistol Andy” in honor of the upcoming Pistol Annies, Lambert’s girl group, album titled “Annie Up.”

How can anyone deny that face? Hopefully, someone will give him a safe and loving home.
