Talk show host Ricki Lake might be transitioning over to a vegan diet. Lake seems to have been inspired by the film “Forks Over Knives”, the same film responsible for turning Kristen Bell, Eliza Dushku and Russell Brand into devoted vegans.

She tweeted, “Vegan salad and tomato soup. 🙂 It’s a new day! #forksoverknives Wow! pic.twitter.com/c1UR7l0bjq”

Based on her tweet, we can’t say for sure that Lake has gone totally vegan, but we bet, at the very least, she’ll be eating many more vegan meals than she was before. Including the one shown above.

Lake is no stranger to the power of documentary film, or more natural living choices. In 2008 she released “The Business of Being Born”, a film that details the differences between giving birth in a hospital and going for a natural birth. Lake herself opted for a water birth in her bathtub.

“Forks Over Knives” has inspired countless people to change their diet. Perhaps we’ll see more from Ricki in the coming days about her new realizations about diet and health.
