It appears that Justin Bieber, after flying to Germany on a private plane with his pet capuchin monkey, had to leave the primate in quarantine after failing to provide the proper paperwork.

If you think there is a whole lot wrong with the above sentence, you are not alone. TMZ reports that the monkey was given to Bieber as a gift by record producer Mally Mall. Mall recently tweeted the following image of the young star and wrote, “@justinbieber & LIL OG MALLY .. #Support #GERMANY #RESPECT #LOVE #FREEDOM”

Considering the star previously auctioned off his pet snake and gave away his pet hamster, we can’t imagine how anyone would think that gifting him a primate would be a good idea. In fact, even if he was the most reliable pet guardian on the planet, a capuchin monkey should never be anyone’s companion.

No word on when the star will return for the monkey, but we hope soon. Then we hope Bieber will do the smart thing and find a place for the capuchin to live out its life. And not as a pet for humans.
