Raise your hand if you want to see Ian Somerhalder run around in a dapper black suit battling crime and fighting for the environment? We do!

Last December, we reported about Somerhalder’s new project “Time Framed.” It is a series of six short films showcasing “The Vampire Diaries” star as gun-for-hire secret operative Agent Black who is trying to stop a clean energy device from entering the wrong hands.

Well, the official trailer is here, and boy does Somerhalder look good protecting the planet. It’s nice to see Somerhalder take a break from bad boy/vampire Damon Salvatore and fight for something he stands up for all the time in real life.

Speaking of his eco-achievements in real life, Somerhalder is repeatedly recognized for his organization, the Ian Somerhalder Foundation, that raises money for the planet and its creatures. All of the proceeds from “Time Framed” will go directly to ISF.

The film also stars Oscar nominee Seymour Cassel. No release date is yet set for the films, but we’ll keep you up to date. Before you go anywhere, be sure to watch the trailer.

Why Vegetarianism Makes No Sense From A Moral Perspective

I don’t consider my years as a vegetarian as a stepping-stone or prerequisite to veganism

I hope I win the ‘Pig Farmers of Tomorrow’ contest I entered (I’m vegan)

I think I’ll likely have the most interest in pigs of anyone applying, anyway.

Hopefully Jon & Tracey Stewart use their new farm for vegan education

They’ve promised classes on caring for animals and sustainable agriculture, so vegan 101 would be a great place to start.
