Actor Mark Ruffalo posted an impassioned tweet recently:

“Between oil spills and natural gas disasters, the Gulf is getting hammered. Enough!”

He then added this link to a Sierra Club’s petition for President Obama. The petition comes following the news of a natural gas rig that burned out of control for two days. Thankfully, all 44 crew members were evacuated safely. Unfortunately, hundreds of gallons of natural gas leaked into the Gulf of Mexico.

The petition is asking President Obama to stop the fracking (as Ruffalo put it: ENOUGH!)  and to pursue cleaner energy sources, such as wind and solar.

Consider signing the petition to speak up for our environment and our future.
