“The Voice” judge and Grammy winner, Cee Lo Green, is passionate about our public lands and is eager to tell you why.

The 39-year-old singer-songwriter is no stranger to raising awareness about environmental causes in communities. He founded the GreenHouse Foundation with his sister “to educate, inspire and influence school aged children in disadvantaged areas to become responsible stewards of their environment, communities and future.”

Green filmed three PSAs to encourage people to volunteer in their communities on Sept. 28, which marks the 20th anniversary of National Public Lands Day.

A special hashtag has been created to encourage sharing on social media – #NPLD20.

Don’t forget to volunteer in your community at parks or other public lands, including community gardens, schools, and rivers on Sept. 28.
