Lea Michele is feeling a bit gleeful since adopting an adorable 8-year-old pooch named Pearl. The popular actress from the hit show, “Glee,” introduced her Pomeranian-esque new bestie on Twitter, saying, “Today I would like to introduce you to Pearl. She’s 8 years old and is my new little love.. Welcome Pearl!”

Two more pup pics followed, with one of them including one of Michele’s rescued kitties.

‘Glee’s farewell episode for Cory Monteith recently aired. Monteith and Michele had been dating at the time of his untimely death this past July. There’s no doubt that little furball, Pearl, will help Michele heal.
