In a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show, Jenna Dewan-Tatum revealed her secret to dropping 33 pounds of baby weight in just seven weeks.

“I ate really well and I’m vegan,” she told Seacrest. “I breastfeed, so everyday I got more and more back to my pre-baby shape, but knowing I was going to be filming in six weeks was a nice little reminder.”

The “Witches of East End” star has supported PETA for many years. Dewan-Tatum is an outspoken voice in the fight to end animal cruelty.

Earlier this year, the actress sent a letter to the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office pleading them to file criminal charges against Global Captive Breeders (GCB). According to PETA’s undercover investigators, more than 18,000 reptiles and rats were treated cruelly, neglected and sometimes killed in GCB’s California facilities.

Dewan-Tatum has also posed for PETA in an ad protesting the use of exotic skins in fashion.

Don’t blame vegans for the shame you feel about using animals

The shame Carly Lewis claims veganism casts over her is more likely the ghosts of moral uncertainty, spectres that are more likely fish than cows, wondering how morality can possibly be used as ammunition in favour of murder.
