We knew it had to happen eventually: former vice president, Al Gore has gone vegan. But so far, he’s keeping his new dietary preferences hush-hush.

Forbes magazine printed an article on upscale vegan product line, Hampton Creek Foods (makers of plant-based Just Mayo). Ryan Mac’s article named some of Hampton Creek’s investors, such as Bill Gates, and then came these little words:

“Newly turned vegan Al Gore is also circling.”

Newly turned vegan?! Cue the confetti and big brass band!

According to the Washington Post, “an individual close to Gore’s decision,” but who asked to remain anonymous, confirmed that Gore had made the all-veg switch. No one from Gore’s office has yet to comment on the news, but my guess is that their voicemail is full this morning.

We hope Gore will soon give a comment on his newly adopted vegan diet.

Veld donates money to farm animals and also serves them

Lest we be confused that their giant V logo stands for anything other than Veld.

Trading beef for beans is not a solution, veganism is

Please do substitute beef for beans, but also have tofu instead of turkey, carrots instead of chicken, and I think you see where I’m going.

Guys, extortion isn’t an effective form of vegan advocacy

Assuming we can extort people into respecting the lives of others makes no sense.
