The Oscars have released their “shortlist” of nominees for Best Documentary. One of the 15 titles is one of the most talked about films of the year, “Blackfish.” The list will be whittled down to just 5 titles, and considering the buzz that has been surrounding “Blackfish” all year, we’d be shocked if it didn’t make it to the final 5.

The full (five) Oscar nominations will be announced on January 16th. The Oscar ceremony will be held on March 2nd. If you haven’t yet watched “Blackfish,” head over to iTunes or Netflix and see what all the buzz is about.

Check out all the lucky documentaries that made the list:

The Act of Killing
The Armstrong Lie
Blackfish
The Crash Reel
Cutie and the Boxer
Dirty Wars
First Cousin Once Removed
God Loves Uganda
Life According to Sam
Pussy Riot: A Punk Prayer
