.38 Special Pull the Trigger on Canceling SeaWorld Show
The Blackfish Effect continues with musical act #8 bowing out of the SeaWorld music fest. Rock band, .38 Special posted the following on their Facebook page:
“Due to concerns raised by the CNN documentary “Blackfish,” 38 Special will be canceling its scheduled March 9th concert at Seaworld. We appreciate the outpouring of support and especially apologize to our Orlando fans. We will try and schedule another performance in your area in the near future. The band wishes everyone a happy holiday season and look forward to seeing you all again in 2014.”
This means only two performers are left on the roster for SeaWorld’s Bands, Brew & BBQ Fest: Scotty McCreery and Justin Moore. To keep the momentum going, considering signing the petitions for both performers.
SeaWorld representatives have said that they plan to fill the (quickly) vacating show spots with other performers, but it seems like they’re going to have a really difficult time finding someone eager and willing to dive into this show!
