Gervais Knows What Homeless Dogs Want for Christmas

The Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in London has been helping homeless and unfortunate dogs and cats since 1860. This holiday season, actor/comedian Ricky Gervais is acting as Battersea’s Santa by encouraging his Twitter and Facebook followers to grant some wishes off the shelter’s wish list.

“Can you help make Christmas morning magical for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home cats & canines?” wrote Gervais on social media, alongside a link to the shelter’s wish list.

Items on Battersea’s list include Christmas toys, “special Christmas meals,” and blankets for both cats and dogs.

As we all hustle and bustle our way to Christmas morning, let’s not forget to support those in need this holiday season. Thanks, Ricky, for the reminder.
