SeaWorld’s Bands, Brew & BBQ event is vanishing without a trace. A Trace Adkins, that is. The country singer is the latest cancellation amid controversy surrounding the care of animals at the marine park, sparked by the eye-opening documentary, “Blackfish.”

In a statement released by a representative for Adkins, it read, “Trace prefers that the focus of his performances be on music, not on controversy. Therefore, he has decided not to proceed with this show in the midst of this debate.”

Adkins makes the 9th cancellation for SeaWorld’s music event. All artists who have cancelled thus far have done so due to the documentary, “Blackfish,” or the negative attention surrounding the film.
