Minnie Driver may play a vegan on TV but in real life she’s not quite there yet.

The English actress admitted recently her menu choices are definitely different than her hardcore vegan counterpart’s, Fiona, on the new NBC show “About a Boy.”  While she still eats meat, she only eats animals she hates.

”I’m not a vegan,” the 43-year-old told EOnline.com. “But I went to a farm school. I used to have a pig. So I can’t eat pigs. And I like lambs, so I can’t eat them. And I used to have to milk cows, so I can’t eat cows. But I don’t mind if anybody else does. And I hate turkeys, so I eat them.”

Driver did not mention the reason for her dislike of the feathered creatures but one can hope they can still patch things up so she can exclude them from her menu as well.
