Ashley Argota, singer and actress, announced to her fans in 2014 that she has pledged to go vegetarian. She tweeted:

Argota joins a rising number of young celebrities who are joining the veggie ranks, including Ariana Grande, a fellow Nickelodeon starlet, who took the vegan pledge just last year. Let’s hope this isn’t just another passing fad and cruelty-free living becomes the new norm in young Hollywood.
