Meet Pickles, a giant 21 pound shelter cat that was recently rescued from an animal shelter and has quickly been gaining fans online.

Nicknamed “Catasaurus Rex,” Pickles was adopted by Emily Zervos and Andrew Milicia after discovering him at a Boston MSPCA shelter.

“He’s actually probably bigger than a lot of small dogs,” Milicia said. “He takes up a whole section of the couch, as opposed to a cat that could just sit in the corner and just be next to the arm.”

A video featuring Pickles and his new owners has already been viewed over 400,000 times online. Check it out below.

Wonderful to see Pickles find a loving home – and especially great that the MSPCA Shelter scored some great publicity as well. As someone who once owned a very large cat myself, I wish Andrew and Emily the best of luck with their new family member. And good luck with the food bills!
