While we don’t yet have exact details, it appears that this year’s dolphin slaughter in Taiji, Japan was one of the topics of discussion on this morning’s “The Howard Stern Show.”

Sam Simon, co-creator of “The Simpsons” and a long-time friend of Stern’s, is currently in Taiji documenting the final week of the hunt and helping to raise awareness of the tragedy there. This morning, he tweeted this thanks to Howard and his crew for taking the time to talk about the hunt, his work there with the Sea Shepherd Cove Guardians, and the efforts people can make to assist.

We’ll have more information on what was discussed when Stern’s show becomes available online tomorrow. And hey – did you see that Mayim Bialik was on there yesterday plugging her new vegan cookbook? Very cool, Howard – very cool.

Veld donates money to farm animals and also serves them

Lest we be confused that their giant V logo stands for anything other than Veld.

Trading beef for beans is not a solution, veganism is

Please do substitute beef for beans, but also have tofu instead of turkey, carrots instead of chicken, and I think you see where I’m going.

Guys, extortion isn’t an effective form of vegan advocacy

Assuming we can extort people into respecting the lives of others makes no sense.
