Katy Perry, American singer-songwriter, businesswoman, philanthropist and actress, is a woman of many talents, and now you can add gardening aficionado to the list.

The 29 year-old, whose private life has been everything but private, admits that she finds getting her hands dirty and growing her own produce to be relaxing. She said, ”It’s [gardening’s] so nice, it’s so fulfilling to go pick your dinner, bring it back and make it. It’s relaxing and very fulfilling.”

After her split with John Mayer in February and her very public divorce from Russell Brand in 2012, the ‘Roar’ singer has decided to make her health a priority, which is where her gardening comes in. Besides making sure she eats her fruits and veggies, Perry also proudly admits to drinking ample fluids, taking vitamin and mineral supplements and exercising regularly.

Whatever Perry is doing has paid off. The singer looks stunning, and perhaps, a plant-based diet will be her next healthy pursuit.
