Fans stoked to catch The Smiths’ former frontman, Morrissey on his tour this year can also keep an eye out for Nugget, an animated chick that will be going on tour with the vegan singer.

Nugget is the star of a new PETA animated feature. Nugget’s story of being born and slaughtered in a factory farm is set to Morrissey’s song, “I Know It’s Gonna Happen Someday.” PETA and Moz hope that viewers will think more about the foods they eat and “try vegan.” Not only is the video making the rounds with Morrissey on tour, reaching thousands of fans, but it’s also part of celebrating Morrissey’s 55th birthday later this month (May 22nd).

PETA’s Lisa Lange said in a press release, “The best way for anyone to celebrate Morrissey’s birthday is to go vegan—not ‘someday,’ but today.” According to PETA, 8 billion chickens are orphaned, stuffed into severely crowded sheds, and trucked to slaughter every year.

You don’t have to wait until Morrissey rolls into your city to meet Nugget. Check out the video below.
