Jennifer Lopez Shares Details on Her (Almost) Plant Based Diet
After surprising everyone last week and announcing she’s gone vegan (although since she still wears animal products, she meant plant based), Jennifer Lopez is sharing the details on her diet.
On a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest, the actress and singer opened up about how she she’s feeling after she made the change.
“I’ve got to tell you I enjoy it,” she said. “I enjoy eating that way. I never did. And I didn’t know how good you can feel when you put healthy stuff in your body.”
J.Lo also admitted she went vegan after taking the same 22 day challenge Beyonce and Jay-Z did in 2013, but unlike the music industry royal couple she stuck with it — sort of.
“I did the vegan 22-day plan and it was really good and I kept on with it for a few more weeks,” she explained. “Now I’ve incorporated a little bit of fish here and there.”
Ok, so more of a pescetarian than a than totally plant based. It would have been fantastic if she had gone truly vegan, or even plant based. Thankfully any amount of reduction still saves lives.
