Many women want to know how Jennifer Lopez maintains her amazing figure. Though she believes in eating everything in moderation, the 44-year-old singer revealed to Michael Strahan in an interview for Good Morning America that she went vegan for a short time.

“I said, ‘You know, I’m going to start to change how I eat.’ … So I went on this 22-day vegan program,” she said.

The whole family took part in the program, including her sister Lynda.

Lopez shared that as children, they often ate pork and beans, and fried pork chops.

“My mom and my grandmother was like, ‘This is healthy food,’ and we loved it,” she said. “We didn’t have a lot of vegetables or salads or greens or fruits or things like that. It was a whole different culture and that’s what happens – it passes down.”
