Zoos suck for the animals living in them – but for at least one Lynx, the depressing state of its confines has become a bit cheerier thanks to a new, unexpected friend.

A video is making the rounds showing a Lynx and its new best friend – a stray cat that snuck in looking for food and instead fell in love. The two have been inseparable ever since and the Russian zoo has officially adopted the stray. Get your daily does of “Awwww” via the video below.
