time lapse

Wow. We’ve spotlighted plenty of gorgeous time-lapse videos of the Earth – both on the ground and in space – but this stunning collection of amazing moments from Joel Schat’s nature demo reel is just something else.

Shot in 4K (which, for those with fast enough bandwidth, you can enable here), Schat’s compilation covers scenes all over the U.S. as part of his Road Trippers startup. There are plenty of favorites, but for some reason, the launching of the hot air balloons for some reason gave me unspeakable joy.

Turn up the volume, shut the door, and as Schat says: “Dive in.”
