Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon is getting her vegan on while filming her new movie in New Orleans.

The film star recently visited Dat Dog on Magazine Street with her nieces, where the trio enjoyed some vegan hot dogs (and possibly some of the non-vegan variety). The restaurant is known for its large menu of hot dogs, including those unfortunately made from alligator and crawfish, but Witherspoon decided to go the animal friendly route for at least one of the meals, People reports.

Her table chose the Apple Smoked Sage Dog topped with dill relish and barbecue sauce. As the menu expresses, it’s “wonderfully vegan!” Dat Dog also offers a Spicy Chipotle Veggie Dog and The ‘Not Dog’ Veggie Patty Dog. Who’s mouth is also watering?

If you’re looking for a vegan hot dog recipe, then you’re in luck, because Dat Dog shared the above vegan goodness that Witherspoon munched on with People. You can view the recipe here.

Verbally abusing your vegan friends isn’t edgy, it’s just being a bully

If you’re a vegan who has had to deal with this, and especially if you come from a background of being abused in other ways, you are absolutely not alone
