The entertainment industry is still in shock over the untimely death of Robin Williams. Fans and friends can take some comfort in the fact that one of the late comedian’s last acts was to help the former manager of the St. Louis Cardinals, Tony La Russa, with his animal rescue efforts.

Williams posted a photo of himself last year on his Facebook page holding his beloved pug, Leonard Bean, who he adopted from an animal shelter.

The caption below it reads, “Look who’s Mr. and Mr. August 2014 for Tony LaRussa’s Animal Rescue Foundation! If you’d like to buy one and help out ARF, please go to: http://www.arf.net/arf-merchandise/2014-calendar.php #leonard #ARF#curlytailpugrescue”

Other celebrities appearing in the calendar include Danica Patrick, Miranda Lambert, Nigel Lythgoe and Kerri Walsh Jennings, among others. The calendars are available for a $15 donation to a very worthy cause.
