Paramore’s Hayley Williams Launches Vegan Hair Dye Company

Thanks to Hayley Williams, vegans can have the highlighter hair they covet.

Bustle reports that the Paramore lead singer has launched her own hair dye company called Good DYE Young, and recently tweeted confirmation that the brand will be entirely vegan and cruelty free.

Her own vibrant locks have been long admired by fans of the band, and I’m personally thrilled that my days of pink streaks aren’t over. Manic Panic may hold a special place in our hearts for being our first, but we have room to love another.

Hayley, who recently wed another vegan, Chad Gilbert of band New Found Glory, is seriously living the pop punk dream. On her Instagram, she shared, “I’ve made a lot of mistakes, learned a whole lot of cool business lingo… and realized through trial and error that [dyeing] your hair is an art AND a science. It was all worth it to finally be able to tell you that GOOD DYE YOUNG is here, it’s severe, and it’s happening! I can dye happy now!”

The puns are as infectious as her excitement, and we’re dye-ing to get our hands on the product line. Quick poll – should my next hair transformation be vegan-green, or save-the-whales blue?
