The Texas Rangers are getting AMAZING vegan options in their stadium
The only way make enjoy a baseball game is to physically get me to a stadium. It’s just not the same from home, is it? Luckily for vegan Texas Rangers fans, trips to go catch a game are about to get way more delicious. Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas has announced some new concession stand menus, and it’s making me question my allegiance to the Washington Nationals. While most sports stadium options are limited and only feature vegan treats such as pretzels and questionable fried fare, Globe Life Park is about to hit a home run with vegan sports fans the world over.
According to Fox 4 in Texas, “There will be an all-new portable cart that offers nothing but vegan and healthy snacks that do not contain any animal bi-products. The menu includes a black bean burger, vegan nachos, vegan hot dog, vegan jerky, vegan chili, vegan spinach wrap, fresh salads, fruit and more.” Oh. My. God. Is it cool to stuff a bunch of vegan hot dogs in one’s purse for a ‘midnight snack’ or…?
Seeing vegan food associated with sports is an awesome sign of the times, and shows that our movement is officially taking over the mainstream. Props to Globe Life Park for being at the forefront of the trend!
