It’s been a while since we had some Shakira news around here, so here goes. The singer is currently on tour in Europe, but she’s also taking the time to promote her charity, Fundación Pies Descalzos or Bare Feet Foundation. The group helps provide Colombian children with better education and nutrition.
Spanish car company SEAT isn’t just sponsoring Shakira’s European tour, but they’ve also teamed up with the pop star in creating a car for the foundation’s fundraiser which will run until May.
The car, aptly named the Leon Pies Descalzos, is immediately identifiable by its striking lilac metallic paint, a colour also highlighted on several details inside. In addition, the interior features part-leather trim incorporating the Pies Descalzos logo. This emblem also graces the B-pillar, while polished black paint is used on the Cupra’s 18-inch alloy wheels.
No word on whether SEAT manufactures green cars, but they do claim they’re committed to the environment.
