Ecorazzi’s Biggest Contest Ever

It’s Ecorazzi Contest time! Over the past couple of months, we’ve been hoarding a treasure trove of goodies and valuables and scratching our heads as to how give it all away. Since we’re still a nascent site growing “organically”, we thought it might be great to leverage the talents of our readers and make this a win/win for all!

We’ve got a new Ecorazzi logo and need some things to go along with it, from business cards to music. We know our readers have skillz – let’s see what you can come up with.

Help us design business cards & letterhead, a video intro, some original music, or a super cool T-shirt design, and you could win Live Earth New York Tickets, an Anya Hindmarch “I’m Not a Plastic Bag” stuffed with Planet Earth DVDs, or $100 bucks.

Choose a category (or more!) and show us what you’ve got! Please note we have a new logo. Deadline: June 20, 2007

Please hit “more” to see what we’re looking for!

Category 1

Business Cards & Letterhead Design

Requests: Square (up to 2.5″) or skinny rectangle (3.5″ x 1″) business cards with name, title, email, & phone number, as well as www.ecorazzi.com. Potential for a two-sided card, but 2nd side should add value somehow. Letterhead to match.

Ideas: Would love to see the “vines” concept carried across the designs.

Category 2

Video Intro

We’d like a standard intro for all of our video coverage to use. It should be visual, unless you are going to create original music to accompany it. See previous video coverage…

Category 3

Original Music

The music would be used as the intro and potentially background and / or ending music to accompany our video or audio coverage.

Category 4

T-Shirt Design

We almost forgot this one! Design a T-shirt that you think would be fun to wear – either as an Ecorazzi staffer, or as a fan of the site. It can be simple or extravagant. It can say something sassy or cool. It’s up to you. Have fun with it!

Category 5

Open

Something else? Have a different skill that you’d like to offer up in exchange for something from our goodie basket? We’re open to ideas!

Prizes

Our absolute favorite entry among all categories will get their choice of one of the prizes. Then we will open it up to the next, and so on.

* (2) Live Earth New York tickets

OR

* Our UK package: an Anya Hindmarch “I’m Not a Plastic Bag” from London stuffed with our favorite DVD – Planet Earth narrated by David Attenborough. Heck, we’ll even throw in a Little Britian Live DVD to keep with the theme.

OR

* $100 bucks

PLUS

* Our undying thanks.

________

Rules

Anyone 18 years of age and up is welcome to enter (even Ecorazzi contributors or family members), in as many categories as they like, though we will not ship prizes outside the USA. We are willing to PayPal the $100, however.

Ideally, if you win, you are offering these designs or creations to us as our own. If you do choose to require restrictions for the design, it must be stated with your entry and may affect your chances of winning.

We hold the right to not choose any winners, if none of the entries are determined suitable for our needs. If you do not win, we will not use your design.

Full name, mailing address, contact phone number, and email address must be included with your entry. Send entries to contest@ecorazzi.com by Wednesday, June 20, 2007 by 11:59pm Pacific Time.

Void where prohibited.

________

If you’ve got more questions about what we’re looking for, contact us. We’ll reply and will also update this post so that everyone can benefit.

Our NEW logo can be accessed and downloaded here. (If you need a different version, please let us know!) Feel free to also add in our tag line of “the latest in green gossip”. All lower case please!

The timeline is kind of tight, but you would have just waited until the last minute anyway, right? Send your entries by Wednesday, June 20, 2007 to contest@ecorazzi.com. Don’t forget to include your full name, mailing address, contact phone number, email address, the files, and anything else that we should know!
