According to the crew over at Ticketmaster, the U.S. Live Earth tickets were printed Wednesday and should start hitting mailboxes this coming week. Anyone else hoping they nail it with recycled paper?

In other news, the details over how “green” this concert series is going to be continue to be elusive. We know that there will be solar, wind, and on-site recycling — but we’d really love to get the details on how much of each will be at the various venues. One thing that is confirmed is that an audit for the U.S. series that will take place shortly after the concert. From the article,

“Burnham said that six weeks after the concerts, an “audit” would be carried out of the environmental costs of Live Earth. If needed, the organizers would then buy “carbon credits” to offset the excess CO2 generated.”
