I guess Rosario Dawson was right.

According to Global Cool, a UK Mag called Nuts has revealed that women place “eco-conscience” as one of the top personality traits to look for when selecting a partner. Really? Are we sure they didn’t just show them photos of Leonardo DiCaprio, Orlando Bloom, and George Clooney while asking, “These guys are all eco-friendly. Are you attracted to them?”

Apparently, a guy who turns down his thermostat raises the heat with the ladies while one that drives, say, an Escalade is delivered scorn. Sorry, Rush. From the article,

“In the survey, ‘caring for the environment’ trumped ‘good sense of humour’ (or ‘gsoh’ as it is frequently flagged up in singles’ listings), which prompted Guardian columnist Alison Benjamin to devise the ad-friendly acronym ‘cate’, or ‘cares about the environment’. ‘There is something sexy about a man who recycles,’ said Nuts relationship expert Louise Prior, before adding that if a man shows his green side it reveals that he ‘cares about more than just himself and shows he has a sensitive side and thinks about the future’.”

Awww…this is either bullshit or another excellent reason for single, eco-smart gents to move to the UK. Pack those Birkenstocks, grab an eco-friendly tote, and let us know how it goes!
