Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer

I’ve gotten so used to watching local talk shows where two starlets battle it out with words or where the hosts speculate about a potential showbiz hookup and grill the involved people endlessly that I’ve forgotten that there may still be good news in Philippine showbiz:

Some GMA 7 artists are proudly wearing pink scarves that symbolize Avon’s Kiss Goodbye for Breast Cancer campaign this year.

For the second year, Avon has partnered with GMA 7 in its quest to raise awareness for the early detection of breast cancer.

The cause is close to the hearts of these personalities because many of them have loved ones who are victims or survivors of the disease.

Some of the celebrities involved in this cause are TV host German Moreno, news personalities Arnold Clavio and Rhea Santos, and young stars like LJ Reyes and Mike Tan.
