This year’s SEMA Show is coming up, and headlining the event is Jay Leno‘s own bio-fuel powered Corvette Z06. You may remember that Leno made a splash at the show last year, when launching the EcoJet. It think this man may single-handedly change the auto industry.

The Corvette is fueled solely by E85 and has a custom, 500-cubic-inch engine that generates approximately 600 horsepower. I’m sure those numbers get someone’s engine revving.

Other green cars at SEMA 2007 will include the FlexFuel Chevy Hot Rod (E85), a 700-hp biodiesel Hummer H2, a biofuel ready Ford F-250, and “other amazing ‘petrol-free’ street and off-road rides.”

I want more electric cars! When are we going to see more of those? SEMA is an industry show and is not open to the public. It’s all going down October 30 – November 2, 2007 in Las Vegas. We’ll all have to admire from afar for now…

SEMA Mean & Green
