Overheard at the EMAs…

Well, not overheard exactly, because, uh, I wasn’t there. But anyway, the stars came out full force at the Environmental Media Awards last week, which was great. Except I saw a clip of Nicole Richie while she was presenting with Rob Schneider joking that yes, she’s environmentally-friendly — after all, she’s wearing a vintage gown.

I’m probably just being uptight and all, being displeased with that quip. But since I quite like Nicole, I suppose I can forgive her that little joke. Hopefully, she’s a lot more eco-friendly than that. She was seen on the green carpet with a Prius after all, plus she was also at the EMAs last year.

    Yep, she’s a greener. I’ve seen her at many an eco-event. I ran in to her at a LOHAS conference too. Jennifer Aniston wears a lot of vintage as well and I think that counts big time…style AND sustainability.     Ooh, thanks for the info, Sean! I’m glad she’s a green girl. It really wouldn’t hurt if celebs got a little extra attention for the good work they do. At least Nicole’s not just a party girl after all.
